The effects of the landslide a few years back can still be seen in Lyme. It's a strange thing to go there hunting for fossils and be greeted by glass bottles, car batteries, old tools and radiators. They look out of place on the beach but I am always drawn towards the objects when I should be there to hunt for vertebrae! I took more images this year...each year it's different...it's an interesting mix, the natural fossil forms from million of years ago next to the man made objects thrown down the cliffs.

Lyme

Some images from my visit to Lyme Regis in Dorset last week. A favourite spot for fossil hunting and spending time outdoors.
